I recently stayed at a hotel in a secluded setting, nestled between mountains and right on the fjord. The hotel buildings were attractive with grass roofs, giving it a unique charm. Despite its remote location, the hotel had comfortable rooms with great views of the water. The staff were friendly and the buffet breakfast was delicious. Although I didn't get to enjoy the patio area due to the weather, I appreciated the option to make a packed lunch from the breakfast buffet. the hotel provided a comfortable stay in a picturesque location.

The staff were attentive and always willing to assist. The hotel itself is modern, comfortable, and exudes a relaxing atmosphere. The meals, both breakfast and dinner, were exceptional. I could easily have extended my stay and highly recommend this hotel.

The location was breathtaking, with the beautiful fjord unfolding before the eyes. The breakfast had a great variety and offered fresh waffles, which were an enjoyable treat. The staff was generally friendly.
The bed was uncomfortable and the room lacked proper ventilation, leaving a stuffy atmosphere. The restaurant had limited options with overpriced and average-tasting food.

The old timber walls found in parts of the building stock originate from an old school stove from Valdres. This gives the hotel a unique charm and a sense of history. It's like staying in a cozy cabin with a touch of nostalgia.
Limited parking space.

The location of the hotel was great! Offering stunning views of the mountains and fjord, as well as close proximity to hiking trails and the ferry port. the buffet style breakfast had a great variety of options including a DIY waffle station which was enjoyable. Best aspect , the hotel has a cozy bar area that was a favorite spot to enjoy drinks before and after dinner. the staff was very friendly and accommodating to requests, even playing personalized music.
The lighting in the rooms was very dim and made it difficult to see, especially on rainy days without proper lighting. the Wi, Fi didn't work in every room which caused some inconvenience.
